An Officially proclamation of November 20, 2026, as Harvest of Hope Community Giving Day in Orange County
A special recognition honoring the mission of Loving Hearts & Praying Hands and its commitment to fighting hunger and supporting families throughout Central Florida.
Loving Hearts & Praying Hands Inc. is proud to announce a special recognition from Orange County, Florida. Orange County Mayor Jerry L. Demings has officially proclaimed November 20, 2026, as Harvest of Hope Community Giving Day in Orange County.
This proclamation recognizes the organization's continued dedication to serving children, seniors, and families facing hardship, housing instability, and food insecurity throughout Central Florida.
Founded on May 5, 2021, Loving Hearts & Praying Hands was established with a mission to promote positive change through food assistance, life-skills education, community partnerships, and compassionate outreach. Since its founding, the organization has remained committed to meeting individuals and families where they are, providing essential resources while treating everyone with dignity, respect, and compassion.
The proclamation also recognizes the impact of the organization's annual Harvest of Hope Thanksgiving Giveaway. In its inaugural year in 2025, the event successfully served more than 300 families by providing groceries for Thanksgiving meals and essential pantry items.
Now, as the organization prepares for its 2nd Annual Harvest of Hope Thanksgiving Giveaway on November 20, 2026, the goal is to serve 400 families with turkeys, hams, and essential pantry items to help make the Thanksgiving season a little brighter for households in need.
"This recognition is a meaningful reminder that the work we do matters. Every family served, every resource shared, every volunteer who gives their time, and every community partner who stands with us helps make a difference. We are grateful to Orange County Mayor Jerry L. Demings for recognizing the importance of this mission and the collective effort required to fight hunger in our community."
Beyond the Harvest of Hope initiative, Loving Hearts & Praying Hands continues to serve the community through its Mobile Food Pantry, Youth Life Skills Program, and other family-support initiatives.
A Community Effort That Makes a Difference
The proclamation encourages Orange County residents to reflect on the generosity and shared commitment of volunteers, community partners, local businesses, and sponsors working together to fight hunger.
At Loving Hearts & Praying Hands, we believe that no one should have to face difficult circumstances alone. This recognition belongs not only to our organization but also to every volunteer, donor, sponsor, and community member who has helped make our work possible.
As we celebrate this milestone, we invite our community to continue standing with us as we work toward a future where every family has access to food, resources, and the opportunity to thrive.
Together, we are spreading love, restoring hope, and making a difference—one family at a time.
Thank you, Orange County, for recognizing the power of community and the importance of giving hope.
